Shaquib Ahmed

Shaquib Ahmed is a Dhaka-based journalist and analyst whose career spans over a decade across newsrooms, wire services, and digital media. He most recently served as a journalist with the news portal Bangla Outlook. Prior to that, he was employed at the United News of Bangladesh (UNB), a position he held until the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic. He earlier worked as a feature writer for Fintech Magazine and began his journalism career at The Daily Star, where he spent roughly two years as an online journalist covering sports. Ahmed holds a Bachelor of Social Science in media and communication from Independent University, Bangladesh, and worked as a copywriter at several leading Bangladeshi advertising agencies during his studies.
